Investing in the future of our country

Corporate Social Responsibility at Two Mountains

The very nature of Two Mountains relies on the importance of Family and partnerships such as this one ensures that growth is achieved through coalitions with those around us.

Caring for our communities, our customers, partners and colleagues is at the heart of who we are and what we do. For over 20 years, we have established an ongoing commitment to operating as a socially responsible business and we have focused our efforts on cultivating culture of making meaningful contributions to communities in which we operate and serve. This ethic is driven across all facets of our business.

We also play an active role in helping build sustainable development within society by partnering with local suppliers and entrepreneurs in various industries and foster job creation through various opportunities.

Two Mountains has cultivated a culture of making meaningful contributions by participating socially in our communities. This ethic is fed into our branches as they too are encouraged to be aware of the needs of their people. In the spirit of sustainable development, we plough back into the country’s socio-economy by supporting local entrepreneurs.
As part of our sustainable social and economic development plans, we pride ourselves with the creation of opportunities in our areas of operations to promote job creation and community engulfment. We also partner with local suppliers and industries to contribute to social development.

Reach for a dream

For over 30 years, the Reach For A Dream Foundation has brought hope to over 60,000 life-threatened children across South Africa with the goal to give the child courage to carry on their fight. During this time, more than 16,000 dreams have been fulfilled ranging from a bedroom makeover to arranging for a child to meet their favourite celebrity or fly in a plane.

Reach For a Dream is devoted to helping South African children from the ages of 3 to 18 fulfil their wishes as they fight through long-term sickness, like cancer, cystic fibrosis, leukaemia and various blood disorders. Founded in 1988, the organisation, through birthday parties, spa days and shopping sprees, has made dreams come true for little ones who don’t have the time or health to enjoy their childhood. The funds raised at the Golf Day will go towards supporting the NGO’s efforts.

“Tee off for a good cause” was our mission as Two Mountains to make dreams come true for Reach For a Dream beneficiaries.
