Purpose of the job

Translate business requirements and processes into detailed functional specifications / SOPs that undergo business stakeholder review.  Facilitate training / upskilling of the Sales workforce on the documented SOPs to ensure understanding and compliance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Address Compliance Gaps

  • Focus on addressing GIA Findings raised in order to ensure full Compliance to applicable criteria.  Documenting processes (SOPs) as indicated in GIA report findings to close out findings raised.

Data Collection and Analysis

  • Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
  • Using tools like SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (Tableau/PowerBI) to analyze and create reports.

Database Specifications

  • Provide information and comments on suitability during the approval process for database specifications to ensure all agreed standards and protocols are followed and data integrity is preserved.

Analysis of “As Is” and “To Be”

  • Support and contribute to the documentation of “as is” and “to be” processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the “to be” capability to record accurately the change required.  Identify any gaps that might exist in processes and address these gaps in “to be” state documentation to close the gaps.
  • Ensure all affected staff are trained in documents.

Business Requirements Identification

  • Collect business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.

Documentation and Backup

  • Creating detailed documentation, including user stories, process flows, and system requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Assisting in testing and ensuring solutions meet business needs.
  • Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.  Create database access via Sharelink.

Process Improvement

  • Identifying, designing, and recommending improvements to business processes and systems.

Stakeholder Management

  • Communicating insights to stakeholders at all levels and managing expectations.

Project Documentation

  • Creating detailed documentation, including user stories, process flows, and system requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Assisting in testing and ensuring solutions meet business needs.

  Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: Generally, 2–5+ years in business analysis or systems development.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and modelling tools like Visio.
  • Methodologies: Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and project management techniques.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
